This was an afternoon trip to this city to see the 4th of July fireworks. As suggested by our awesome host Victoria, we took the small fancy Honda she offered us and drove together to Annapolis to see the fireworks (this is the time we found out that for the gas you either pay by credit card at the pump, or by cash at the counter BEFORE fueling). Not much else to be said here, except that the fireworks were by far not as nice as the ones seen in Brno, yet much appreciated. While the fireworks were a bit of a disappointment, the city was a small jewel, with small brick houses, well taken care of. Some old monuments there as well, such as the oldest state house still in legislative use.
